Itinerary 1 - Family Friendly Unforgettable Costa Rica
Trip Overview
After your first night in San Jose, travel to the Cordillera Central and we will pass through an area with authentic Costa Rican coffee plantations to follow the La Paz Waterfall Gardens on the way to the Arenal Volcano. La Paz has a well-designed trail through its cloud forest that winds along the crystal clear La Paz River and leads to viewing platforms that bring you closer to five beautiful waterfalls. We will also visit the Iguana Bridge, famous for its abundant iguanas. Continue to the Arenal Volcano, a smoking volcano whose steep, dark conical slopes rise from vast tropical forests. Spend two nights in the Arenal Volcano area enjoying local rainforest hikes, a visit to a traditional Costa Rican food restaurant. Enjoy boat transfer across the lake to Monteverde and its exclusive rural Quaker/Tico community. Get a different perspective of the cloud forest, as you literally fly through it on a "Zip Line" Canopy Tour! Finally, we will move to the Central Pacific to the Punta Leona Hotel where you will experience this beautiful hotel, with tropical beaches and the richness of the fauna of the rainforest, such as howler monkeys and white-faced squirrels, colorful black and scarlet crabs, black iguanas and a great diversity of colorful bird species

Day 1: Arrival San Jose - Transfer to Hotel Colinas del Sol (www.hotelcolinasdelsol.com). An approximately a 35-minute drive from the airport.
Day 2: We go to Fortuna Arenal with a stop at Jardines la Paz Waterfalls Garden (www.waterfallgardens.com) for a tour. An approximately 1½ hour drive. After time at the Waterfall Gardens we drive to Los Lagos Resort and Spa, Fortuna, Arenal area (www.hotelloslagos.com). An approximately 1¾ hour drive from La Paz. (B-L)
Day 3: Arenal NP Tour - Leisure afternoon to enjoy the hot springs at Los Lagos Hotel. Additional activities and tours available through the resort for additional cost (B)

Trip Overview
After your first night in San Jose, we will start the road to the Arenal Volcano, a smoking volcano whose steep and dark conical slopes emerge from vast tropical forests. Spend two nights in the Arenal Volcano area enjoying local hikes through the rainforest, Monteverde, and its exclusive rural Quaker/Tico community. This beautiful country house has two lodging areas the main house has two bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom for 4 people, it also has a separate room for 4 people fully equipped, the property has a swimming pool, beautiful gardens and is strategically located for access to supermarkets and the beautiful city of Athens.
It is a property for families or groups of friends who wish to spend a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica and enjoy with its totally private nucleus.

Trip Overview
You will be picked up at Daniel Odder Quiros International Airport in Liberia and transported to Hotel Rio Celeste Hideaway, one of the top 100 hotels in the world and to 10 Central American Resorts per Travel and Leisure. Spend two nights at this beautiful hotel and resort near Tenario National Park.
Transfer to beautiful area of Monteverde for nights 3 & 4.
Transfer to Hotel Riu Palace or Casa Conde Beach Hotel (both all inclusive properties) for nights 5 through 7. Enjoy the beach and gardens of these properties or take a tour.
Transfer from your beach hotel to the airport for your trip home.
